Approved documents are the source of truth
Sensitive work should start from the current, authorized record, not scattered copies, inbox attachments, or whatever a model happened to remember.
About Clear Ideas
Clear Ideas™ helps teams share approved documents with external stakeholders, then turn that trusted content into cited answers, Governed Agents, and audit-ready records.
We are building the governed workspace where secure collaboration, permission-aware AI, repeatable workflows, and defensible evidence live together.
Why we exist
Clear Ideas was founded by Blair after more than 15 years in M&A and transaction advisory work. In that world, sensitive information rarely stays inside one company: it moves to clients, auditors, buyers, boards, investors, lenders, and advisors.
The tools around that work have not kept up. Legacy virtual data rooms are often narrow and transaction-bound. General file storage is built for internal collaboration. Standalone AI tools can be fast, but they are disconnected from permissions, provenance, engagement visibility, and the records teams need later.
Clear Ideas brings those pieces together: approved documents, external access control, cited AI, governed agent runs, analytics, signing, and exports in one practical system of record.
What we are building
Clear Ideas is not just a place to store files, and it is not just an AI layer. It is the workspace where teams decide what is approved, who can use it, what AI can reference, and how the resulting work is preserved.

What we believe
The best controls do not sit beside the work. They shape the workspace so teams can move quickly with confidence.
Sensitive work should start from the current, authorized record, not scattered copies, inbox attachments, or whatever a model happened to remember.
Cited answers and agent outputs are more useful when people can see what was in scope, what was referenced, and whether the result can be reconstructed later.
Clients, auditors, boards, investors, lenders, and counterparties need more than access. Teams need a durable record of sharing, review, engagement, and decisions.
Recurring reviews, summaries, reporting packs, and diligence processes should become governed workflows instead of fragile prompt history.

Deal RoomsRun diligence with approved files, external permissions, watermarking, Q&A, engagement analytics, and AI grounded in the room.
Audit CollaborationGive auditors a clean review environment while preserving activity, evidence exports, and the source record behind each response.
Board and Investor UpdatesDistribute sensitive reporting packs, track review, and keep governance materials tied to permissions and history.
Trust and security
